Furthermore, Tox Regulatory Affairs assists manufactures of electrical and electronic products to comply with regulations for RoHs and WEEE. For developing countries, Tox Regulatory Affairs assists CSR-projects, B2B Environment projects or other projects with advice concerning the safe handling of toxic chemicals from electronic waste, safe handling of electronic waste and waste strategies.
Tox Regulatory Affairs was founded by Roza Pedersen. She has MSc. in Ecotoxicology and Chemical legislation from Roskilde University (Denmark). In addition, she has extensive experience in REACH legislation, EU product registrations, biocides and pesticides legislations, due to her experience at the Danish Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Here, her main tasks were to approve applications for approval of pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, insecticides and biocides, approve labels and safety data sheets (SDS), deal with technical documentation for products in relation to authorities’ requirements, advising companies in the EU and Asia and corresponding with Competent Authorities in the EU.
During the past 10 years Roza has traveled to India, where she has become familiar with the Indian business culture and the conditions that exist in the fields of industrial chemicals, pesticides and biocides, as well as environmental issues.
Finally, Tox Regulatory Affairs assists companies that would like to import industrial chemicals, pesticides, biocides, herbicides, insecticides or other goods from India but do not know how they can establish contacts with relevant Indian exporters.
